MCE Profile Pictures
caution
This is an experimental feature with limited capabilities.
MCE supports user provided profile pictures when operating in standalone deployment, i.e. without Skype for Business integration.
Profile pictures within MCE are stored in an unencrypted file share.
note
Make sure that you create a network file share that gives read/write permissions to the service account.
To enable profile pictures, you will need to provide the following advanced keys in the management tool:
Key | Value | Description |
---|---|---|
debug.mce.userphotoupload.disabled | false | User photo uploading is off by default, this means you need to configure the system to not disable user photo upload in order for profile pictures to work |
debug.mce.userphotoupload.uploadpath | C:\mindlink\mce\profile_pictures | The shared directory used to store user profile pictures. Make sure the folder exists, and the service account has read/write rights to the folder. |
